A Small Piece of Jingdezhen, Shaped by Fire
Made by hand in Jingdezhen from natural clay, this tea cup carries the character of the kiln in every detail.
Its soft blue-and-white decoration is finished beneath the heat of the kiln, where fire transforms the surface into a smooth, warm and naturally lustrous glaze. No two firings are ever exactly the same, so subtle variations in color, texture and glaze are part of what makes each piece unique.
This is not simply a tea cup made to look like Jingdezhen porcelain. It comes from the place where this tradition is still being practiced.
